When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Tournament data
We store tournament configurations, brackets, match results, team names, player names, and scores that you or your participants create on the platform.
Usage data
We automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps to understand how the platform is used and to improve it.
Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

- Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
- Public tournament pages: Tournament brackets and scores you publish are accessible to anyone with the link. Do not include private information in public tournament data.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and tournament data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance. Tournament data shared publicly may remain accessible through cached copies.
5. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Export your tournament data in a portable format
